If you have been awarded a federal contract, you have the right to be paid. If the government is making you provide additional or changed services and is not paying for them in the amount you believe is reasonable, you have the right to file a Request for Equitable Adjustment (REA) or claim demanding more money.  You can also file claims when the Government treats you unfairly, such as giving you undeserved negative performance reviews or terminating you for default when you have done nothing wrong. If the agency denies your claim, you have the right to appeal to an impartial court or board that will hear the merits of your case.

Successfully drafting, negotiating, and litigating a claim requires both mastery of the ins-and-outs of Government contract law and a dedicated focus on learning the facts of each particular case and presenting them in the most effective way possible. Our attorneys can help. ASM attorneys have handled claims of all sizes – from the tens of thousands of dollars to the hundreds of millions – before dozens of federal agencies, both civilian and military. We have litigated claim appeals before all of the major tribunals, including the United States Court of Federal Claims, the Civilian Board of Contract Appeals, and the Armed Services Board of Contract Appeals. We know how to make your case strongly and get you the result you deserve.
