ASM has an active and sophisticated Government Contract Law practice. The firm represents government contractors large and small in all phases of their dealings with the Federal government, state and local governments and among prime contractors and subcontractors. We counsel clients through the contract drafting and negotiation process, help our clients obtain and maintain special statuses (small, disadvantaged, minority-owned, etc.), protest to agencies, GAO. If our clients are not awarded contracts and good cause exists, we advise them on performance issues and potential disputes that arise during contract performance and draft appropriate correspondence and draft and litigate claims before local, state and Federal Courts or Boards of Contract Appeals.
Our government contracts attorneys have over 80 years collective experience in guiding new and established contractors through the complexities of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (“FAR”), agency regulations and laws unique to government contracts. We assist clients in all phases of their dealings with the Government and prime – subcontractor matters. This work includes: reviewing solicitations, contracts, modifications, subcontracts, teaming agreements and related documents.
