If you have been awarded a federal contract, you have the right to be paid. If the government is making you provide additional or changed services and is not paying for them in the amount you believe is reasonable, you have the right to file a Request for Equitable Adjustment (REA) or claim demanding more money. You can also file claims when the Government treats you unfairly, such as giving you undeserved negative performance reviews or terminating you for default when you have done nothing wrong. If the agency denies your claim, you have the right to appeal to an impartial court or board that will hear the merits of your case.
Successfully drafting, negotiating, and litigating a claim requires both mastery of the ins-and-outs of Government contract law and a dedicated focus on learning the facts of each particular case and presenting them in the most effective way possible. Our attorneys can help.
