ASM is excited to welcome two new team members – Doug Callabresi and Walter Fitzhugh.
Doug is a partner in ASM’s construction litigation and transactional practice groups. Immediately prior to joining ASM, Doug was in-house counsel for a Fortune-500 national homebuilder where he managed all affirmative and defensive claims, as well as the company’s litigation in the Eastern-half of the United States, including construction defect, real estate, condominium, tort, personal injury, procurement, subrogation, insurance, and subrogation matters.
Walter joins the firm as an associate in the ASM’s construction and government contracts groups. Walter is a recent graduate of the George Washington University Law School, with experience in construction claims and landlord/tenant litigation in the Eastern District of Virginia and in D.C. Superior Court.
“We’re so excited and very fortunate to have Doug and Walter on the ASM team,” said Chuck Asmar. “They are incredible additions to our litigation and government contract practice groups, and our clients’ positive feedback on Doug’s experience and industry insight is refreshing.”
