Construction Contracts and Project Documentation Presentation

On Wednesday April 17th, Chuck Asmar made a “Construction Contracts and Project Documentation” presentation to Washington Building Congress members. His presentation focused on the contract negotiation process and was based on recent trends involving AIA project documentation and modifications. He also touched on the prominent issues that arise throughout the course of project delivery, project completion and beyond. Chuck wrapped up his presentation with a segment on securing mechanic’s lien rights (MD, DC & VA) and bond rights (for both Federal Miller Act and State Little Miller Act projects).
