Wen represents owners, general contractors, and subcontractors in complex disputes arising from private and public construction projects, litigated in federal and state courts and in arbitration. Her practice spans indemnification and contribution claims, unjust enrichment and breach of contract disputes, delay and defect claims, and public procurement challenges. She has represented a general contractor in multi-party litigation seeking indemnification from several subcontractors following a construction defect claim on a hotel renovation project and has represented contractors and subcontractors in payment and scope disputes with owners on commercial and public projects. She has also played a significant role in discovery, case strategy, and dispositive motions practice in construction arbitrations and litigation involving delay damages and insurance coverage disputes.
Wen earned her J.D. from the George Washington University Law School. After graduation, she served as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable John M. Maloney in the Circuit Court for Montgomery County. Fluent in Mandarin Chinese and conversational in Korean, Wen brings a multicultural perspective to her practice and is committed to serving clients from diverse backgrounds. Wen is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia, Maryland, the United States District Court for the District of Columbia, and the United States District Court for the District of Maryland.
